Inside the song
What it holds.
“Plastic Sky” is about the polished realities we build to avoid looking at what is true. Everything can appear bright, controlled, and shareable while the real horizon quietly disappears.
The song asks whether comfort is still comfort when it costs us wonder — and whether an imperfect real life is better than a flawless imitation.
First light
Where it began.
The phrase came from noticing how often artificial light replaces daylight, and how easily a screen can become the window we look through most.
Musically, the goal was to make the surface feel inviting while small cracks appeared underneath. The tension between shine and unease became the center of the song.
